More than 100 participants, representatives of civil society organizations in the country working in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development, pet experts, scientists and practitioners in the field of environment and climate change, They had the opportunity to attend presentations of scientific papers that are made on the basis of thematic areas that were outlined in the indicative notice for the Fourth Megjnarodna Conference on Climate Change.

Fourth International Conference on Climate Change held in the framework of the 14th Annual Meeting of the NGO's working in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development. This year's conference was organized by MKM Institute for Sustainable Development and Climate Change Management, and supported by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.

The aim is to facilitate discussion on key issues related to climate change, to stimulate the inclusion of a discussion on climate change in the process of development planning and decision-making at local level, and to find new ways to promote urban resilience to climate change.

These conferences integral part is the scientific approach to climate change and the role of science in the climate change debate, which was manifested by the interest in the subject areas, and the preparation and arrival of a large number of scientific papers.

Within the 14th annual meeting of civil society organizations working in the field of environment and sustainable development, held on 18 and 19 November, 2017 in Hotel Sirius, Strumica, They presented several scientific papers that were selected by the Scientific Committee of the 4th International Conference on Climate Change.

The remaining papers will be published in the papers and Zborniot International Journal No.2 "Sustainability".
