🎓 Archive: Training and Development of the Solar Sector – 2021

A year dedicated to improving educational standards and continuing professional development

The year 2021 was particularly significant for the ECOSOLAR Training Centre. In addition to regularly delivering our specialised installer training programmes, the year was marked by major steps towards improving the overall education system for solar technologies in North Macedonia.

🛠️ Key Activities and Achievements in 2021

• Support for secondary vocational education (March 2021): We successfully delivered part of the practical training in solar energy applications for pupils from the Municipal Secondary Technical School “Kole Nehtenin” in Štip. The practical instruction was conducted using advanced solar training equipment procured through our verified centre, directly contributing to the improved preparation of younger generations.

• New national occupational standards (May 2021): In close cooperation with prominent education professionals, our expert Zoran Trajkov developed two entirely new occupational standards in the field of solar technology. Designed to improve the quality of vocational education at the national level, these standards were officially submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science.

• Regular solar installer training:

  Alongside our contribution to institutional development, we continued our primary mission of delivering regular theoretical and practical training programmes. New groups of candidates underwent rigorous preparation for the safe and efficient installation of photovoltaic and solar thermal systems and received state-recognised certificates.

The year 2021 confirmed our commitment: we do not merely train individual experts—we actively work to raise the overall professional standards of the solar industry in the Republic of North Macedonia.
